What is Rural? The Impact of Definitions

The forum will include:

  • Background information on the changes in definitions
  • A diverse panel of speakers who will talk about the impacts of the changes from local, statewide and regional perspectives
  • A facilitated "open mike" session for participants to engage in a discussion about the impacts

Wisconsin Rural Partners is seeking up to five communities to participate in a training and technical assistance program aimed at creating local entrepreneurship strategies. Letters of interest are due in the WRP office October 3, 2005. Click here for the community brief [PDF].

Agencies and organizations whose mission includes supporting entrepreneurship development should consider this opportunity to leverage our resources together! The latest: On August 3, 2005, Wisconsin Rural Partners, Inc. joined several partners in hosting a statewide listening session on entrepreneurship in Wisconsin Rapids.
